The story revolves around Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), a surgical intern at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle, Washington. The show features an ensemble cast, though Meredith is featured as the central character, providing voice-over narration at the beginning and end of most episodes. The title of the show is a reference to the anatomy textbook Gray's Anatomy. Fans were disappointed by the end of season three and many are concerned the show may have jumped the shark.
